THE closing date for nominations for this year’s best business section of the Guernsey Awards of Achievement is noon on Thursday 15 November. There are three available: the Healthspan Best Large Business for companies of 60 or more full-time employees, the BWCI Best Medium Business for companies with between 16 and 59 full-time staff and the NatWest
Best Small Business for firms with 15 staff or fewer.
‘Guernsey continues to be a thriving business environment and the Guernsey Awards for Achievement is the island’s premier opportunity for local companies to demonstrate their growth, commitment to best practice and development plans for the future,’ said Alex Bridle, senior events manager of CMA Event Management.
Nominations will be judged next month by
an independent panel that will include representatives from the Commerce and Employment Department, Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Directors, Confederation of Guernsey Industry, Young Business Group and Guernsey International Business Association.
Winners and runners-up will be revealed at a gala evening on Thursday 7 February at Beau Sejour.
