OZANNES is sponsoring the sixth annual International Trusts Congress on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Crowne Plaza, London. The conference will include more than 50 experts providing the latest information and guidance on wealth planning and trusts.
Featured topics will include alternatives to trusts, family wealth planning, new risks for trustees, criminal and civil confiscation of assets and estate planning for sharia law clients.
The event provides opportunities for delegates to meet colleagues both national and international.
Ozannes partner Advocate St John Robilliard, who is head of trusts and author of the Guide to Guernsey’s Trust Law, will be a speaker on day two and his talk is entitled, Criminal and civil confiscation of assets - the trustees’ risk.
‘Trusts lie at the heart of a vast number of family and commercial structures, administered both here and across the globe,’ he said.
‘I am pleased for the second year running to have been asked to participate in what is probably the leading international trust event to take place in the United Kingdom and hope that our sponsorship brings the firm, and more importantly Guernsey, positive notice.’
