CHRIS DOUGLAS has opened his custom-made shop to signal the start of a new era at the Royal Guernsey GC.

The Scot took over as head coach from the retired Norman Wood on New Year’s Day and has already stamped his mark on the role in an impressive way with the refurbishment of his workplace.

‘It is nice to be making the decisions,’ said a grinning Douglas. ‘We still provide the services required, yet it is also a fresh and exciting time.’
