KRIS MOHERNDL batted well for 29 and Blane Queripel bowled first change in their first competitive action for the European Academy side in India.
The two Cobo and island players are among 14 of Europe’s finest young talents at the prestigious ICC European Academy, which is being held for the first time outside Europe, at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai.
All the players, aged 18 to 22, come from six of Europe’s 27 ICC associate and affiliate member countries – Gibraltar, Guernsey, Ireland, Israel, Scotland and the Netherlands.
