THE Guernsey women’s team finished the World Team Championships in Guanghzou, China, without winning a single match, but they are not downhearted.
The team of Dawn Morgan, Alice Loveridge and Becks O’Keefe placed 70th out of 72 countries.
‘We’re not disappointed – we competed,’ said O’Keefe. ‘It’s a very high standard and we weren’t losing games 11-2. We were losing 11-7, 11-8.’
