Rangers 0 Sylvans 4
SHOULD Sylvans go on to clinch a top-three finish in the Priaulx nobody will have done more to achieve it for arguably the league’s most unsettled team of 2007-08 than keeper Paul de Garis.
There have been several occasions this winter when the former semi-pro has been positively brilliant and Saturday at St Andrew’s was one of those games.
He, more than anyone, was responsible for the misguiding scoreline. Rangers might have had a hatful in the first half when the red-and-blacks tore down the slope only to be denied time and again by the keeper and to fall to two sucker punches at the other end.
