SPECSAVERS is developing its own finance department staff.

It has started a three-year course during which they develop their skills, knowledge and experience by undertaking placements in the department.

Each studies for a professional qualification before taking up a permanent job. Training and development manager Nicole Morrow said it was about developing Guernsey talent. ‘This is not only good for Specsavers, but also for our social and corporate responsibility.’
