TONY Blondel yesterday refused to rule himself out of the running for Guernsey football’s top job.
The sport’s rumour mill has been rife that he may have eyes on taking over at the helm after GFA chairman Dave Nussbaumer announced this week that he will quit the post.
Former Island manager Blondel was the GFA’s vice-president from 1993 to 2001. ‘I would not put myself forward, but if people wanted me to go back I would seriously consider it,’ he said.
