Guernsey set to be tested by students

GUERNSEY will have at least one tough workout before the Muratti final in which they will play Jersey, 7-0 winners over Alderney at the Mount Hale ground on Saturday.

Steve Ogier’s island side are to play an England Universities team at Blanche Pierre Lane on Wednesday 23 April, 12 days before the big game in Jersey.

Steve Sharman, once of Vale Rec but now a coach with the England Universities side, said during a visit to his home island at the weekend that it will be a strong squad who come to the island.
