BELS are still on course for a possible six-trophy season, but last night Rocquaine United pushed them all the way in the Fletcher Sports FA Cup semi-final.
The best of today versus the cream of yesteryear was far from as comfortable for the Priaulx champions as several were predicting before this hard-fought tie.
In the end though, the 10-man blue-and-whites overcame a 1-0 half-time deficit to progress and meet either North or Sylvans, who clash tonight at Blanche Pierre Lane at 7.30. Rocquaine United coach Colin Renouf said he was ‘very proud’ of his players.
