Sylvans’ coach Martyn de Garis.
SYLVANS conceded third place and an important Wheway Cup spot after losing 4-3 to Bels at the Track last night.
It was always going to be difficult for Martyn de Garis’ team against the Priaulx champions and defeat has meant that due to North’s superior goal difference and with St Martin’s beating Rovers 4-0 at Blanche Pierre Lane last evening, the top three places are now theoretically taken.
Sylvans sit on 38 points having played 22 matches with North third on 44 after 23 and Saints, having played 24, are second on 47 points. ‘That’s it really – we’ll finish fourth now,’ said Sylvans boss de Garis.
