A WEBSITE has been launched in the quest to save St Sampson’s Infants’ School.

The site, www.sos.gg, was launched yesterday and features a petition. Along with St Andrew’s Primary, St Sampson’s Infants’ is being considered for closure. Chairman of the school’s newly formed PTA Nick Batiste said it was the next step in the campaign to persuade the Education Department that closing the school would be a terrible mistake.

‘The website is designed to take the message out to a wider audience. It’s an opportunity for people to see how closure would affect everybody. We believe it’s more than just the children and parents of St Sampson’s Infants’ School who will be affected and we want to bring it to people’s attention.’
