Collins Stewart win in overtime

ANOTHER week and another epic win for Collins Stewart in the Yorkshire Guernsey Division One.A couple of weeks ago they came from behind to defeat title rivals Le Mont Saint Subaru 57-55 in arguably one of the best ever matches seen in local basketball. With 3.2 seconds left on the clock and the scores level on 55 points, Andy Stephens scored the winner to give Collins the victory.

On Good Friday night against their stable mates Collins Stewart Inferno, they required overtime to win, this after they had been down by 10 points at one stage. ‘Very pleased – we stuck to the basics, kept faith in our team mates and we got the win,’ said the winning captain Nigel Govett.
