THE Condor Vitesse was holed after hitting the jetty as she left St Malo on Saturday morning. The vessel is out of service today for repairs.

It was left with some hull damage, including a small puncture above the waterline. ‘Condor apologises for the inconvenience caused to passengers and is doing all it can to ensure that services are maintained and disruption is kept to a minimum,’ said the company’s Channel Island manager Ian Milner.

He added that more details about the incident will be released tomorrow.
