NORTH and Grouville will chase Jeremie Cup glory next month after semi-final victories on Saturday.
The deposed Guernsey Priaulx champions and cup holders showed their fighting qualities after trailing their title successors Bels to emerge as 2-1 winners at Northfield. Mark McGrath gave Bels a first-half lead but Simon Tostevin and 17-year-old footballcv academy player Kieran Mahon, who came off the substitute’s bench, notched late goals to book the chocolate-and-blues a final place.
‘It feels good for my club – I look to represent them when I can and to score,’ said Mahon, back on a family Easter break from the UK.
