FOURTEEN-year-old Joshua Lewis of the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club starred at the Hampshire County Age Group championships held at Waterlooville.
On the basis of the highest scoring swim in the Bagcats system, he was awarded the coveted Royal Aircraft Establishment Aggregate Trophy for his performance in the 100m individual medley. It was the best male performance of the meet – the highest scoring swim worth 684 points.
He also retained his title as Hampshire Bagcats champion in his age group, accumulating 3,184 points in total. Lewis achieved seven first places with some extremely exciting finishes, none more so than the blue riband event – the 100m freestyle.
