Jersey 3, Guernsey 3
GUERNSEY let slip a 3-1 lead in the last 10 minutes of Saturday’s cracking men’s inter-insular but still keep their hands on the silverware.

The Nick Mahy coached team were calling all the shots in the year’s big game at Les Quennevais and through two goals from Rob Newton and a Simon Beck strike, they looked as if they were going to win for the sixth year on the trot.

But a late resurgence from the home side saw the honours shared. However, the rules state that in case of a draw, the cup stays with the previous year’s victors.
