Factory-closing firm set for huge profits

0542450.jpgSHAREHOLDERS come before employees, according to the manufacturing chemist closing its Guernsey site with the loss of jobs.

SSL International, which operates as Simco Ltd on the Braye Road Industrial Estate, announced it is on course for massive profits growth.

But the firm, which makes Durex and Scholl products, is continuing with plans to close its Guernsey business by the end of the year, resulting in the loss of 95 jobs.
