Nothing cut and dried for starting XI at Springfield

STEVE OGIER still has major decisions to make before the Muratti final in Jersey – and hopes they will be left in his hands and not those of the medical staff.

The sight of Dave Rihoy and Darren Martin standing in their civvies in the Blanche Pierre Lane dugout rather than out on the field in green-and-white was a particular worry for Guernsey fans.

Bels’ star winger is carrying an ankle ligament problem while the North skipper has a tight hamstring. If fit, both would be shoo-ins to start at Springfield, but it could be a nervous wait to see if they take their place.
