‘You’ve reduced this to a cattle market’

05368721.jpgCHIEF MINISTER Mike Torode fears for the integrity of the new House as the race to replace him reaches boiling point.

He enters his last day in office today taking some extraordinary parting shots at his colleagues, some of whom he said had turned the chief minister contest into a cattle market.

Deputy Torode (pictured) makes his feelings clear in a heated email exchange prompted by Deputy Mary Lowe’s attempts to organise a hustings for chief minister candidates ahead of tomorrow’s vote.  ‘I think this is a despicable, ill thought-out arrangement,’ said Deputy Torode.
