GUERNSEY will be shown in all its glory in a tourism marketing campaign during the next couple of months. Inserts will appear in a number of top UK titles.
A four-page promotional piece was recently stapled into the Saturday Telegraph and Tony Dawson, consumer marketing manager at Commerce and Employment, said more would be featured.
‘Over the next few months, the media campaign will include a variety of advertisements in key national press titles and specialist interest magazines,’ he said.
‘Our advertising will feature full colour pages, leaflet inserts in publications, direct mail through letter boxes and we have also been continuing the work in collaboration with local companies promoting Guernsey into the UK market.’
Mr Dawson said some of the campaign activity included industry partnership advertising with local businesses.
‘Elements of the campaign also include opportunities for our islands’ air and sea carriers, hoteliers, self-catering providers, as well as tour operators to advertise with us, in many cases detailing special offers or deals,’ he said.
‘Potential visitors are also able to request a free brochure pack or they can access all the information they need to plan their holiday.’
