Bels 4, Trinity 1
MICKY OGIER hopes that Bels’ season has been ignited by their comprehensive victory over Trinity on Saturday in the Deloitte CI Champions League semi-final.
Last year’s Priaulx champions have certainly not been at their best so far this campaign. On Wednesday night they lost to bitter rivals North in the first round of the Wheway Cup.
Ogier admitted that his side have not been firing on all cylinders lately.
‘I’m hoping that this has kick started our season,’ said Ogier. ‘You could see that they were all enjoying themselves and were working together. Today we played as a team.’
Trinity had taken care of North 2-0 to reach the semis, which led North’s coach Mick Le Prevost to say that they were the best side that his team have played in the last two years.
