The Greens will meet the Devon county side at Blanche Pierre Lane this evening.
The match has a 7.30pm kick-off.
It is understood that it has been kept under wraps and not publicised in a bid to keep it quiet from Hertfordshire so that they cannot come and spy on the Guernsey team.
Island boss Tony Vance refused to comment on why the Devon match has been so ‘hush-hush’ and instead preferred to explain why the friendly had been organised.
‘It’s a fixture that I wanted to have so that they’re ready for the game on Saturday,’ said Vance.
‘It’s a step up from their everyday league football and it is vital that we hit the ground running and are focused for it. We need to make sure we get everything out of the game that we need to and help us progress in the competition.’
