GUERNSEY-BASED vet chain Vets4Pets has launched a franchise scheme as the business continues to grow.

The franchise proposition allows existing and established independent practice owners to tailor a package of support to meet their own needs, with the benefit of commercial expertise provided by the Vets4Pets team.

Currently, the company has nearly 90 joint venture partners and is on average opening a practice every two weeks.

Peter Watson, the chief executive officer and founder of the company, has ambitious plans to grow the business to more than 300 practices in the UK by the end of 2015.
