OFFICE development in the second phase of Admiral Park is likely to be built in response to demand.
While it is expected that there will be significant interest in new development at the Mixed Use Redevelopment Area, Tony Rowbotham, managing director of planning and development consultants Montagu Evans, which will also be the leasing and marketing agents, said that flexibility was important to create the right fit for potential tenants.
He said that demand for office accommodation in Guernsey was running at between 25,000 and 30,000sq. ft a year, with slightly more than half of that being taken up by new developments. Typical demand from businesses is for between 3,000 and 10,000sq. ft.
The Admiral Park Mura site is expected to offer about 120,000sq. ft of office space, probably over four to six separate sites.

Do we really need even more office space? Has anyone got a decent back up plan for when all these office blocks stand empty!
