Business awards shortlist announced
Tuesday 4th December 2012, 11:00AM GMT.
SHORTLISTED companies in the running for the island’s top business awards have been announced today.
More than 30 firms nominated have been whittled down to just 12 to compete for the four new awards and the top prize, the Commerce and Employment Business of the Year award.
‘The calibre of nominations this year is excellent, with an exceptional diversity from across the island’s business community putting themselves forward. This is reflected in the shortlist, which demonstrates that businesses of all types are clearly working extremely hard to give their companies that edge which leads to notable and outstanding business success,’ said Commerce and Employment minister Kevin Stewart (pictured).
‘Judging is always a difficult process and many companies often only narrowly miss out on being shortlisted. Those who submitted nominations evidently worked hard and should be proud of the successes they have achieved over the past year.’
The winners will be revealed at the gala awards evening at Beau Sejour on Thursday 7 February 2013.
