REPRESENTATIVES of some big names in sports and entertainment found out more about Guernsey’s innovative image rights legislation at its London launch.

The Corinthia Hotel in Whitehall is no stranger to celebrities but for the two-hour seminar they gave way to their lawyers, agents and advisers.

Nearly 200 delegates heard how the world-leading legislation can be used to manage and protect image and brand.

‘The event was a great success and we were incredibly pleased with the turnout, which was a clear demonstration of the significant interest that has been shown regarding our ground-breaking new legislation,’ said Fiona Le Poidevin, chief executive of Guernsey Finance.
