NEARLY 800 people are due to attend tomorrow evening’s Awards for Achievement event at Beau Sejour.

Preparations for the awards event are being finalised, with local companies Betley Whitehorne, Joy’s, Tussie Mussie and Sueco to the fore, under the direction of The Guernsey Event Company.

This year sees the introduction of four new business accolades – the NatWest Best New Business Award, the Healthspan Excellence in Marketing Award, the BWCI Innovation Award and the Condor Ferries Employer of the Year award.

The premier trophy, the Commerce and Employment Guernsey Business of the Year, remains alongside the two individual awards – Specsavers Unsung Hero and Guiton Group Ambassador of the Year.
