Awards for Achievement entry deadline looms

BUSINESSES have less than a month left to prepare their nominations for the Guernsey Awards for Achievement.
Entries for the five awards close at noon on Wednesday 6 November. Organisers said since the launch in June there has been a great deal of interest in the awards, which were revamped into new categories last year.
A workshop last month saw more than 20 businesses take advantage of help and advice from past winners, who demonstrated the positive experience of entering. Despite the deadline being less than four weeks away, organisers are keen to stress that there is still plenty of time for anyone considering entering to complete an entry form.
‘There has been a good level of interest shown across all the award categories and it’s hoped now that anyone who feels they have achieved success during the past year will step up and put in an entry, so that the gala evening will once again showcase the immense diverse business talent within our local economy,’ said deputy Commerce and Employment minister Deputy Al Brouard, who is also a judge for Business of the Year.
