Sorry Doug but Benedict had it right. The central point of the Christian message is that you can't earn a place in the Kingdom, Jesus did that for you. To gain access, all you need to do is "...confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead" You don't even need to have gone to church once. The acts of service Benedict mentions should be done voluntarily out of thanksgiving to God, not as a means of earning your way in. I agree with you about God TV though, hence why I never watch it.
