From where I'm standing it looks pretty dire now, easy to say with hindsight but we have been (and continue to be) far too reliant on finance - lets face it, the industry is shrinking and looks likely to continue to for a while yet. Do you think there is any loyalty to the islands on the part of these companies? One sniff of a better deal elsewhere and they will be off. The article above says as much in not so many words.
