So how exactly are we supposed to know if a tax return is deemed 'complete' by the tax office (thus avoiding the penalty fee) if they are not able to process my tax return for the next 12 months? It is ridiculous that they are asking Islanders to submit returns when they are so far behind. I know people that have been waiting for a tax refund for 12 months and the tax office are still sitting on their cash.
