Thanks for the kick in the teeth for all of us who are NOT local and actually enjoy our roles as nurses over here. What this has to do with saving money and ward closures in the grand scheme of things is nit picking. Your HSSD needs a budget Tsar to ensure departments don't overspend. Let's face it Guernsey is a buisness minded community, shouldn't be too hard to stick to a budget. Start with pharmaceuticals and disposables and see how much money you COULD save by shopping around.
