Rachel, all good questions, and ones I have been wondering about myself! Dave, sorry to draw this out... re. my use of the term 'dire straits' - I wasn't necessarily referring to those people not working and requiring housing. I think that if I was working hard, all the hours God sends, and STILL couldn't afford somewhere to live, I would almost certainly consider myself in dire straits. There is definitely a wider issue here. And I do not envy you and your fellow Assembly members, who are tasked with trying to sort it out, because I honestly have no idea where I would even begin. But Housing is doing a wonderful job of plugging the leaks until the ship can have a good working over, so again, thank you.
