In addition to the general condition has anyone noticed the state of some sections of the coastal road, especially corners on the route of the Lagan traffic, but that'd be just a coincidence I'm sure. Let's hope there's allowance in the Airport budget to repair these sections of road at the end of the contract. The biggest issue with the "savings" made by departments is that they seem to be imposed by bean counters with little appreciation for how their easy broad brush savings are affecting the community and the whole Island. Leaving roads to fall into disrepair is just a short sighted saving, in several years time we'll all be asked to pay more tax somewhere or another just to sort the mess out.
