Wages much cheaper elsewhere, of course it's more cost effective to move the work to a cheaper duristiction. With modern communications, just like the fate of local retailing and even online movie streaming the world is now truly connected and the only way to survive is either remain competitive or offer something unique. The major costs to the finance industry are housing the staff and paying the wages, I cannot see this changing any time soon. Still Guernsey is very much a great place to live and work and I am sure new opportunities will avail themselves ... Zero 10 seems an old Turkey now.
