And here we go, another "let's bash public sector workers" article. The key to me is to reform the pensions system not just for public sector workers but across the board. And I really can't buy the argument that "private sector pensions are not as generous so let's make public sector pensions rubbish as well". Final point, I understand that the current scheme is not underfunded. Where is the rationale for change? If it is not broken, what are we trying to fix?
