well well well, pehaps it may be wise to speak to a lawyer with reference to if they can change the pensions regardless. Anyone in the know care to comment with facts not hearsay? I believe anything has to be evidence based nowadays when dealing with the states for pay etc, so it should be interesting to see the evidence from both sides as to why and what should change. But rest assured, i feel it won't end with pensions for states workers, bonuses, pensions and the like for the rest will be under threat, especially as states employees as a majority get no bonus after appraisal unlike some other organisations who have done so for years whilst some states workers were fighting to increase a lower wage. let the perfect cast the first stone!
