It is unfair in one way but Guernsey students benefit hugely from Cambridge treating them as overseas. For one thing, other than medicine, there is no cap on the number of 'overseas' students that Cambridge can accept. It is no co-incidence that a large number of College and Grammar students have got into Cambridge for Arts and Science courses in recent years.
