If you buy your food in a box do you really think consumers actually read it or give a stuff. If it is cheap and saves cooking I suspect many do not really care and if it had not been pointed out would happily carry on. Remember turkey twizzlers, might say turkey but it never said mechanically reclaimed... yet consumers bought them because it was easy food and no effort.
