I think my post has been interpreted in the wrong way. i have every sympathy but felt the police blocks were the wrong tool to use to try to gather further information. i do not listen to the radio at work. Only when I am in the car travelling to and from work so an announcement on the radio was not much good. i understand the vitriol spouted at me for complaining. I am a law abiding citizen who does a lot to help people, gives a lot to charity and also does of running for charity but on this occassion I think the police were disoragnised. they arranged these road blocks in the dark when it was raining and it was difficult to see or know what was going on. I do think that there has been enough in the GP and on the TV ( and possibly the radio) to inform people that this lady was missing so that anyone with any information could come forward. If I offended apologies
