St M I would think that the 'road block'(?)was positioned at the top of Track Lane because the missing lady resides in Track Lane and the 'road block' (?) was timed to fit in with the last time she was seen in that area. This would allow them to ask possible regulars passing by at that time if they could remember anything ( There would of course be no point in asking illegal drug supporters like Indie that question as they often can't remember if their a*rse is punched or bored) Not a whole lot of point either in stopping motorists at the Mount Row or Castel Hill traffic lights or in L'Eree or Jerbourg car parks I would imagine
