Jimbo at 5.29pm Please volunteer for one of the appeal panels which are having to sit on a regular basis nowadays to try to unscramble some of Environment's bizarre rulings If only there was a common-sense-o-meter available to scan prospective Deputies when they turn up on your doorstep once every four years I can't see a local farmer ( certainly not at the present time)purchasing that field for many thousands or renting it to plant say Brussel sprouts which are readily available fresh at a few pence per pound or frozen at a pound per bag No, until Iran or North Korea start World War Three or some gigantic space rock hits this planet, Environment's ruling will merely result in that parcel of land being left completely unused and untended like so much of this precious commodity in the form of derelict vineries Jimbo's temporary two year permit is a simple and common sense idea which would go a long way towards easing that shameful waste of resources
