Hate this arguement about crowd numbers!! 1,000 max and falling. What about the 60,000 that don't go? By very rough numbers 1.6% of our small population think the project is good. No doubt the states will need to chuck money at it at some point too (At least on the pitch). Its not a bad experiment but built on a shoddy foundation of finances and being against the interests of the majority and youth. To be honest i don't mind GFC, I'm totally indifferent, but i watch the murratti every year on the same date so if its been moved for GFC i'll be fuming as i'll miss the rearranged date. More people watch the Murratti than GFC by far so they should come first (I acknowledge that GFC has not been given as the reason but lets face it it is).
