I don't agree with the the taxpayer giving any funds to GFC beyond what is given to other sports and I will be a staunch opponent if this happens. But you seem to have a more interesting grasp on numbers. How many other sporting events in the CI attract 1000+ spectators on a weekly basis? Does that make all sports just for the minority? And if you compare the attendances at your beloved Priaulx games to the whole island population, we may as well just turn all the pitches into car parks.
