I'm with Rosie on this one but forgetting our carbon footprint and the pollution aspect of burning fossil fuels like there's no tomorrow there are also very strong economic reasons for all of us cutting down on the fossil fuel derived energy we consume. The price of petrol is going up and up because of the weakness of the £ against the dollar and electricity prices are going up all the time too, which is why we need to go full tilt for Kev's plan for a windfarm out to sea on the west coast. We have no security of energy supply as things stand and, if we find the right partner, this could be the opportunity we need to become an energy exporter 10 years from now rather than an energy importer.
