rosie What do you believe will happen re the fuel hungry super yachts? Will the owners be saying to themselves " Oh dear,we can't get low duty fuel from Guernsey so we'll have to scrap our super yacht and therefore do our bit to save the planet from destruction in one hundred million years time" OR ? "Oh dear,we can't get low duty fuel from Guernsey so we'll have to get it from somewhere else" It's all very well being horrified at X or Y but it's not exactly very business like The tax on those lost fuel sales could have helped to fund the loss making bus service,or support the anti smoking, anti fizzy drinks, anti obesity, anti car use, anti greenhouse gas, anti Sunday Trading, anti runway re-alignment (it is not an extension),anti over packaging, and any other of the prodnose individuals or small groups which seem to proliferate on this tiny rock
