CASH prizes are on offer for schools across the Bailiwick thanks to a Guernsey Press competition sponsored by Moonpig.

By collecting coupons in the Guernsey Press during the four weeks after half term, schools will be in with a chance of winning prizes of £5,000, £3,000 or £2,000 to spend on whatever they choose.

Those that decide to register with the Guernsey Press by no later than Friday 7 October will have to collect as many points as possible by gathering the coupons, worth 1,000 points each.

The number of coupons published in the paper each day will be at random and the top three schools will be calculated using student ratios to ensure the competition is fair.

Coupons will be in the paper for four weeks from Monday 31 October.

The closing date for getting coupons to schools is Saturday 3 December.

Schools need to tell the Guernsey Press of the number of points collected by Wednesday 7 December.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday 14 December at Moonpig.
