After 42 years in Australia am now living with my Swiss husband in St Gallen near the Lake of Constance.

I think this list of expats is great – perhaps I am too ancient was at the Ladies College until 1956 but could not find a name that I knew.

Never mind, will keep viewing – hope springs eternal.
PS my father Rex William Collins was very well known for his music skills and used to run the Victory Inn Pub near the White Rock.

Came to New Zealand in October 2003 and have never had one second of regret or homesickness. Despite the earthquakes!, life just outside Christchurch is great and we have no desire to return to the Northern Hemisphere.

I now live in Lake View , Alabama , USA with my lovely American Husband of nearly 13 years…I have lived here for nearly 14 years

I just LOVE it ……don’t miss the weather in Guernsey ….but sometimes I miss the Sea…..how rough it gets…it’s not the same in the Gulf of Mexico..it has no rocks or stones …just miles of white sand …not even any seaweed on the sand

I come back to Guernsey most years for a visit

Fiona and I left Guernsey in mid 2010 to move to Australia. We are now enjoying life in Hampton, Melbourne (3188) and currently live quite close to the beach. We love it here and are trying to see as much of this amazing country as possible!

Family moved to Australia , possibly after the fight in 1066 or 1077 . I live in Beachmere Queensland Australia and work , fly in fly out , at Cloncurry in a minesite . How old are you Graham Higgins???????? What do you eat? I want some .

Just found this site 4-Nov-2011
I left Guernsey for college in England in 1970
then left for Antigua West Indies in 1977 and have been here ever sinse.
I came to Antigua to escape the cold and damp
and have not regetted it at all.Even my parents have retired here.
After 34 years here i still consider myself to be a visiter,once a Guernsey Donkey always a Guernsey Donkey.
I have not been back yet, but hope to make it next year for my 60 birthday.
Would like to hear from anybody who knew me during my time in Guernsey.
Went to St Sampson Sec. school from 1963-1968
Boys Grammar school 1968-1970.
