This Is Guernsey

I have fourteen years experience as a politician and have shown that I can accept responsibility and discharge it in a professional and consistent manner. I respect the fact that I am entrusted with public money, your money, and always try to ensure it is spent wisely. I can confirm that if re-elected, I will be seeking to play a major role in the new government.

I make the following promises to the people of the Western Parishes:-

I will work tirelessly to ensure that Guernsey remains a politically independent, environmentally attractive and well-governed Island, a place where people are able to enjoy fulfilled and successful lives.

I will be a strong, passionate voice for the Western Parishes and will continue to protect and encourage those unique aspects of Guernsey that help to make our Island such a good place to live;

I will encourage and support initiatives that seek to grow and diversify our economy BUT, and I emphasise the “BUT”, that growth must not be at the expense of our quality of life; and

I will remain conscious of the potential for those less fortunate members of our society to become disadvantaged by our economic success. We have to move forward but we must take everyone with us.

We must always remember that Guernsey does not belong to us, we are just looking after it for our children

I intend to leave our children, and their children, a future full of hope and opportunity. Please help me to do that by trusting me with your vote
